Piano and keyboard lessons are available in person (under normal circumstances) or via the internet on skype or zoom. I’ve been teaching music for 25 years. My focus is on making the learning process as easy and enjoyable as possible. I use some of the best resources available in both book form and online, to assist you or your child with the learning process. I’m a patient and friendly teacher, and I love sharing the gift of music. Piano lessons for children and adults I specialise in teaching beginners, and take pupils through to early advanced levels. I provide lessons for children from the age of 5 and for adults at any age. Lessons vary according to the students interests and can include: learning to read music, theory, scales and arpeggios, playing a wide variety of pieces and developing the ability to improvise. To provide a sound structure, I often use the Alfred’s Basic Piano Library - levels 1-6. I also mix this with additional pieces and skill development from other sources. I don’t take pupils through formal exams, although I can teach most of what is required for passing exams. Free Lesson I provide one free lesson, so you can meet me, find out more about the lessons and decide if you’d like to continue. Contact me to ask any questions or to arrange a lesson time.
